About Emily:
I began my yoga practice in 2006 and have been teaching since 2012. My alignment-based classes weave yoga philosophy, breathwork and meditation into each physical practice. A former teacher, I believe yoga should be fun and accessible for all. By providing clear instruction and a supportive environment, I help fellow yogis discover a deep dedication to yoga both on and off the mat.
When I'm not teaching yoga, I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking (and eating), hiking and ceramics. I approach all that I do through a yogic lens - one of patience, self awareness and reflection, and endless curiosity. Yoga allows me to move with peace and stability through a world that is often chaotic and overwhelming.
