I am an avid athlete, and my love of physical activity greatly contributed to my personal training career choice. I love to run, hike, ski, play sports, and do just about anything that gets me outside. Originally from Minnesota, I attended and graduated from Winona State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. At the foundation of my training philosophy are two main principles. First, your workouts and exercise must be challenging. If it doesn't challenge you, it will not change you. Secondly, exercise should be an enjoyable experience for you. No one wants to consistently do something that they hate doing, so your workouts and exercise modalities should be tailored to you. This is my job as your health and wellness coach. You may not necessarily love each individual exercise (who does!), but you will enjoy the process of improving your health, feeling better, and enjoying better quality of life!
