Topher is a good instructor, he pushes you to do tough exercises. One suggestion to him would be to provide more details about each exercise like which body part it covers. He should also include to use more gym equipments.

Excellent instructor: Has patience, always about demonstrating & explaining what you're going to do before you start (conscientious about ÿou know what you should do to avoid lousy movement habits), and good music to make exercising fun. I love that he explains what is gained from the movement he's directing, is gentle with correcting the action when necessary, and updates the expected activities before you move (to avoid injury based on your body's ability). I'm looking for exercise routines. Please send. Thanks, Edwina

Topher is an incredible coach! I had done a lot of group classes before (Orange Theory/Shred 415) but the class I attended ended up being more of a personal training session. He helped me correct my form and was thorough with the why behind different movements and strength training exercises. Highly recommend his classes!

Topher was very helpful to ensure my correct poses during our exercises. He was really educational in sharing techniques I can use in the future when implementing reps on my own, and how I can adjust and challenge myself safely. I really appreciated his encouragement when I followed through on something correctly, he was patient with my understanding and really explained the intention of all of the exercises. He was also very approachable and great to talk to throughout the class.

Working with Christopher (Topher) was my first time working out with someone that has had many years of training experience. His experience showed early on as he helped correct my forms and assessed each of my workouts to help me get the most out of them. I would recommend Christopher to anyone wanting to step up there fitness to another level or looking for a trainer that is helpful and knowledgable.

I have been working with Topher for six weeks and he has created a custom plan to work through all of my old injuries and current issues to create exercises that are greatly improving my strength and mobility. I am constantly impressed with his rehabilitation focused knowledge and his tailored and systematic approached to getting me active and strong again. Every time I think I can't, he shows me that I can.

Topher is awesome! I haven't worked out in 20 years and I'm off the couch and gettin' stronger! Topher really focuses on technique and ensuring I avoid injury.

Chris is an incredibly knowledgeable trainer. I love that he imparts helpful advice and tidbits of information that I have never received before from other trainers. He also challenges me- his workouts are difficult but in a good way. I’m excited to be working with Chris and hope to achieve my goals under his guidance

I had an introductory session with Topher. I appreciated how gracious he is and that he has significant experience with clients of all ages across the lifespan- from youth to seniors. He can work with clients with a range of fitness levels with unique health goals and body types. I would highly recommend him. 5 Stars!

My husband and I had two sessions with Topher so far. He is encouraging, professional and we like his sense of humor. He customized the exercises based on our conditions and goals. Hope we get fit soon with his help.

I was amazed at the way Christopher conducted the class in Ridgedale 2/14/2019. I would give a 5 star review to him, it was not too hard on any of us, a solid workout, encouraging and very professional, still showed individual attention, thanked him personally also. Great job! His sense of humor is awesome :-)

Christopher was great, I was fortunate to have a 1 on 1 and he was very observant of difficulties for me and started out on a great pace, also he checked in quiet a bit to see how I was doing throughout the process!

I was really nervous about starting a program like this being 59 years old and almost 200 lbs. I have never done anything like this before and worried that he would be pushy and it would feel like boot camp. I couldn't have been more wrong. Chris was amazing! I felt so comfortable that I was kind of disappointed when the hour was over. I'm actually looking forward to my next workout, thanks Chris!

I actually like Chris as a trainer. For my first time having someone in that capacity, he does an excellent job in making sure I push myself to be my very best. I feel like I accomplished something after I leave a session

This is my 4th training session with Chris, and I can feel a great progression towards my fitness goal. Being unfit for a long time, it was hard to get back on track. Chris has been designing great exercises and routines for my fitness level, and keeping me excited about working out more often. I can't wait to see the results at the end of my 12-session package.

Chris has been great. I particularly enjoy that he helps me stay positive while working hard. He is also very good about showing different variations of the same exercise so I can find the one that challenges me but is still doable. In addition, he is also very knowledgeable about fitness.

Chris is an excellent trainer. Chris arrives ahead of schedule and is well prepared for the session. We get to work immediately. He is very familiar with each machine in the training rooms and demonstrates effectively how to use the equipment as we utilize them. He watches me closely to make sure I am in proper form to get the maximum benefit from each exercise. He explains to me how each exercise is helping me. He encourages me to the next level of exercise. At the end of each session, he summarizes what we have completed and reminds me what to do until the next session. July 2017 -I did my 5k walk. After a health crisis, I thought those days were over. First 6 months, we couldn't use cardio equipment. I couldn't even walk to the lockers - it would take too long. I left my keys in the gym sales office. Chris got a group of his clients to be there with me on the day and came out to support me over one year later. The difference between Chris and other trainers I've used is he can adapt quickly to accommodate the flexibility I have that morning and change the workout depending on, literally, what's moving today. It makes a big difference. I did the Swedish SummerRun 5k, OOTD walk in Ptld and training for the 12ks of Christmas 2017 5k. Thanks, Chris!

I have been training with Chris for past 1 and half year. Chris is a wonderful trainer. Training sessions that he conducts are innovative. I was never a fitness freak but Chris helped me to develop the right attitude towards exercising and helped me to get back in shape. His trainings include correct balance of weight training and cardio. I would continue my association with Chris for years to come as I feel they are extremely important for me to keep healthy lifestyle.

Chris has been my trainer for over 18 months. My husband & I train together 1x per week, & then I train alone with Chris a 2nd time each week. The workouts that Chris puts together are interesting, & definitely push me. My husband & I get an overall workout when we are together (with weights specific to our ability) & then when I train alone, Chris focuses on my personal goals. He pays attention to how I am feeling on any given day & adjusts sets as necessary. As I age, these workouts help keep me active! On a side note, I don’t loooove to workout, & I can be grumpy. Chris is always the professional, makes it fun and continues to encourage me during my whining. I’m actually surprised sometimes at what I am capable of!

Chris makes every training session a success. Just when I think I can't do anymore, he's gets me through it. When necessary, he adjusts the weight, he adjusts the exercise, or he just talks you through it until you're finished. The only exception is when he cracks a joke and I'm laughing too hard to do the exercise. He helps me understand how to do the exercise correctly and what can go bad if I don't use proper posture or lifting technique. Chris has been my personal trainer for two years. I am impressed with how much stronger and faster I have become.

Chris's approach is, regardless of whatever level I show up in, to improve and learn ways to maintain this new level of fitness. "It's not 'I can't'. It's 'what do I need to modify so I can." It's worked. When I met him I couldn't walk to the locker room but recently I was able to complete a 3 mi. walk for AFSP in Portland. He's easy-going and workouts are always different. I hadn't been in a gym post-health issues so I'm very excited on my next fitness goal - a 5k.
